Payton Nyquvest, Founder, Chair & CEO

Payton is the Founder, Chair & Chief Executive Officer of Numinus, a company that empowers people to heal and be well through the development and delivery of innovative mental health care and access to safe, evidence-based psychedelic-assisted therapies. He has a deep understanding of the psychedelic industry from its infancy, driven by life-saving personal experiences with multiple therapy modalities. Additionally, Payton has deep business leadership experience, particularly in the finance sector, and is a recognized innovator and visionary in mental health care. At Numinus, he guides teams leading strategy, innovation, research and clinic network expansion, and supports the marketing and capital markets functions. He is responsible for raising more than $70 million for Numinus in the past year, and is quoted widely in media such as CTV, Forbes and the New York Times. In addition, he brings more than 15 years working in finance, investment and retail banking with some of Canada’s leading independent investment firms, including Jordan Capital Markets, Canaccord Financial and Mackie Research Capital. In these and other roles, he has raised more than $100 million for a variety of small cap companies.

Allen Morishita, Director

Mr. Morishita has more than 30 years’ experience in the securities and financial industry as a Vice‐President and investment advisor with Canaccord Genuity Corp. (September 1980 to May 2011). He retired from Canaccord in May 2011, and is currently the President of Kyly Investment Corp. and Secretary/Treasurer of Morquest Trading Corporation, both privately held investment companies.

Larry Timlick, Director

Mr. Timlick has been in the technology space for over 30 years and has had senior management sales positions with AT&T, Cisco, Arista, and Avaya. He has been consulting in the cannabis/hemp market for the last 30 months to a number of start‐up companies in Canada, USA and Colombia to help build out their business models and find capital to develop their businesses. Mr. Timlick was an early advisor/former director of NextLeaf Solutions (CSE‐OILS). He is also CEO and board member of Turtle Island Corporation, a company formed to capitalize on the growing legal cannabis markets and to create shared economic development for First Nations across a global network with planned operations in Canada, United States and Colombia. Mr. Timlick is also the CEO and Director of Ohkwari Corporation NV., which is a public listed company on the Dutch Caribbean Security Exchange (DCSX) and the holding company of Turtle Island Corporation.

Mr. Timlick has total public board member experience of over 29 years with a number of companies listed on the TSX, TSXV, Nasdaq and the CSE.

Micheal Tan, Director, Chief Operating Officer

Former/first Executive Director, BCLDB Cannabis Division. Successfully launched recreational cannabis operations in BC. Twenty years’ operations management, strategic planning, and execution with national and multinational corporations including Hudson’s Bay, Saks Fifth Avenue, and UPS. Seasoned, high-impact operations, product development, and marketing executive with a track record of driving performance excellence and profitable revenue growth.

Edwin Garner, Director

Mr. Garner is the past Chair of the Commercial Division, Vancouver Island Real Estate Board. He is a licensed commercial real estate broker. Mr. Garner is a former President of the hospitality industry liquor licensing enforcement advisory committee. Mr. Garner has a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from the University of British Columbia. Has owned and managed many businesses over the years in the land development, construction and hospitality sectors. A former Director of Salvation Botanicals where he also served as AQPIC under Canadian Narcotics legislation. He has extensive experience in USA securities Series 7, Series 24 (Former Operations Manager), and Series 27 (Financial Principal).
